• Overview

• Scott began working for a trucking and excavation company which gave him the opportunity to repair and operate large heavy equipment. He was exposed to many different types of equipment including excavators, loaders, scrapers, dozers, skidsteers and other earth-moving equipment. He also drove and repaired semi-trucks, trailers and large combination dump trucks. Scott enjoyed the challenges of driving the trucks and operating heavy equipment as well as repairing them. He even had occasions to haul heavy equipment with a low boy, a trailer specially designed to move very large equipment.

  After leaving such interesting work as that, Scott worked for a local facility where he enjoyed repairing a wide variety of vehicles and longed for his own business. In 1998, Scott had an opportunity to purchase the location here on S. Range Road. Blue Gryphon Service, Inc. opened its doors to the Blue Water community on December 21, 1998. Since then, we have been very blessed with many new friends and acquaintances. Every week brings new people looking for great technicians, and once they see Scott and his team in action, they can appreciate their honesty and thoroughness.

  Incidentally, Scott is a member of two antique car clubs in the Blue Water area. It is a pleasure to enjoy working on craftsmanship from eras long gone and to keep them running for years to come. Scott has worked on vehicles as old as 1910, of which there have been two. We have had wonderful examples of every era here at some time or another at Blue Gryphon Service and enjoy talking to the owners about their antiques.

  Scott’s personal objective for being in business is the desire to offer a quality service to his clients at a reasonable price. Scott is a triple Master Certified Technician: Master Automobile, Master Truck and Master Truck Equipment Technician. He takes the time to outline the services that are needed now, the work that will be needed in the future, and then suggests a schedule that will make every effort to provide safety and assurance for all of his clients.
